Setting up in the industrial area

In the interests of preserving the environment, rather than keeping its industrial area to a single part of the city, Geneva has set up various hubs of activity in strategic locations on both the Rive Gauche and the Rive Droite. Whether in Meyrin, Plan-les-Ouates, Vernier or La Pallanterie, all these industrial estates offer Industrial Land Foundation (FTI) zones and Ecoparks with intelligent spaces tailored to industry, traditional trades and new technologies. All these rapidly developing areas are increasingly linked to the city centre via public transport, with ever more frequent services being put in place and lines being extended.
