At Pilet & Renaud, we are proud to share one of our projects: a renovation carried out with a 100% zero-waste approach. This project, completed in an apartment, reflects our commitment to promoting responsible practices and actively contributing to a more sustainable future.
As part of this project, every step was designed to minimize environmental impact. We implemented specific on-site containers to sort the materials used. Each element was processed to be recycled or reused, thus aligning with the principles of a circular economy.
We also chose to use tarps made from recycled materials. These tarps, reusable throughout the duration of the project and fully recyclable, represent a concrete solution to limit construction waste, which accounts for approximately 70% of waste produced annually in Geneva—nearly 4.6 million tons.
This project incorporated a system that purifies and reuses the water used for cleaning paintbrushes. By injecting a specific product into the machine, water and paint particles are separated, making their reuse possible. This ingenious approach perfectly illustrates our commitment to reducing resource consumption while avoiding pollutant emissions.
This project, which is part of a 100% zero-waste approach, is much more than just technical achievement: it embodies an initiative that brings us closer to more responsible buildings and a sustainable future. At Pilet & Renaud, we firmly believe that every project can become an opportunity to act positively for the environment and inspire exemplary practices in the real estate sector.
With a view toward transitioning to a more sustainable future, we would be delighted to assist you in carrying out work aimed at preserving the environment, whether or not your property is under our management. We firmly believe that every initiative matters and are at your disposal to discuss solutions tailored to your needs.
