Nothing is achieved without passion. This is probably the most widely shared feeling among our teams. Whether it’s our advisors, our brokers, our technicians or our executives, they are all spurred on each day by the same passion for their profession. This feeling is also intimately linked to the place where we do our jobs: Geneva, which has always been our specialty, is an area that we know inside out – but one that we still love to explore as we observe the changes that it undergoes.
In our business, the key word is trust. A feeling that requires much more time and perseverance to build than the most ambitious of construction projects. Since 1872, our ethics have served as a compass to follow in all our activities. We cherish our reputation, a valuable bequest from previous generations that we will pass down through future ones.
Although we now have automated tools and digital documents, one thing is certain: nothing will ever replace actual contact between two human beings. We make it a point of honour to behave in-house as we do with our customers: always open, always available, always listening. The current management team, just like the company’s founders, remains abreast of what is happening on the ground and keeps its doors open to all. Our company's increasing size is not necessarily a hindrance to this way of working. Pilet & Renaud has always worked like a family, and today it maintains its modest structure; the family has simply grown.
One thing architecture and construction have taught us is that nothing can be built to last without a solid foundation. Our company owes its healthy financial situation to the judicious choices and the wise and careful management of several generations of partners that have followed on from one another at its helm. While real estate euphoria was turning the heads of some, we always knew better, steering away from any ill-considered risk-taking. When we embark on large-scale projects, we always take time to reflect, which we believe will ensure that we are around for a long time yet.
Visiting a future neighbourhood with a drone, furnishing a house in 3D using a computer, acquiring housing via crowdfunding, using robots to identify areas offering the highest returns, drawing inspiration from our clients' social networking profiles to find the apartment of their dreams: the places the digital age can take us nowadays are utterly infinite. At Pilet & Renaud, we want not only to follow these changes, but to anticipate them. We train our teams to a high level and develop innovative tools to reconcile the power of long-established expertise with the
best of modern technology.
